| 'Vette and the 350Z wouldn't even be close. I recall a year or so back where Road and Track compared the 350, the 'Vette, the 911, and one other car. It's interesting to see the disparity in performance now compared to the TT v Vette comparion 16 years ago. Yes, Nissan lost their way and had to be bailed out by Renault. And it could be reasoned that this is why the 350 isn't on the same performance level with the Vette as the Z32 was back in it's prime time. GM lost Billions of dollars and still made the Vette a serious contender....quite a contrast of philosphies. It's apparent that Nissan is pinning it's hopes on the GT-R to be the Vette killer. So I guess the torch has been passed from the Z to the GT-R to take on the Vette (and Porsches). Dave
